Our approach
Assessment first, then a custom appliance
Snoring can sometimes be a sign of a medical condition such as sleep apnoea. Where needed, a sleep study and an assessment by the relevant specialist are recommended, and the appliance is planned accordingly.
Your teeth, gums and jaw joint are examined. If the appliance is suitable, impressions are taken, the appliance is made for you and its use is explained in detail.
What it aims for
What an anti-snoring appliance aims for
- Helping keep the airway open during sleep.
- A comfortable fit, as it is made from impressions of your teeth.
- A portable option that is worn at night and removed in the morning.
- Regular check-ups to monitor the teeth and jaw joint.
